Troy Lee will be honored at the The Quail MotoFest—which takes place on May 17 in Carmel, California—as the event’s Legend of the Sport.
Lee will join The Quail Ride on Friday before the event, which includes parade laps at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca and an exclusive lunch and dinner experiences with Lee and other industry icons.

Join us in Carmel, California, for an unforgettable weekend celebrating incredible motorcycles and our very own Troy Lee at The Quail MotoFest on Saturday, May 17.
Troy will be honored as the event’s Legend of the Sport and will take part in the annual Fireside Chat, sharing stories about his legacy and impact on motorcycling.
The highly anticipated event will also feature more than 200 vintage and modern bikes on display. Three featured classes, Italian Innovation by Bimota, Tribute to Yoshimura and Celebrating 45 Years of the BMW GS, will recognize significant motorcycle brands and anniversaries, while 10 traditional classes highlight bikes from various brands, styles and countries.
Guests will also enjoy live music, a beer garden, delicious food options, children’s area and much more.
You can kick off the weekend with Troy by joining The Quail Ride, a 100-mile journey through the scenic backroads of the Monterey Peninsula, on Friday, May 16. The ride includes parade laps at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca and exclusive lunch and dinner experiences with Lee and other industry icons—a must for any motorcycle enthusiast.

(October 24, 2024) – The Peninsula Signature Events announced today the 2025 dates for its world-renowned motorcycle and motorsports events at The Quail Golf Club, including two of the most anticipated shows for enthusiasts and collectors, The Quail Motorcycle Gathering and The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering.
The Quail Motorcycle Gathering shifts a week later in 2025 to Saturday, May 17. The 15th annual event celebrates iconic two-wheeled machines and brands on the golf club’s pristine greens. The event will kick off with The Quail Ride on Friday, May 16.
Perfect for enthusiasts and families, The Quail Motorcycle Gathering will feature more than 200 unique motorcycles and scooters from different eras, displays from prominent moto-related sponsors and vendors and an engaging fireside chat with a special honoree from the motorcycle and racing world. Guests can also expect the event to be full of exciting field activations, tasty local food offerings, live music, and, of course, the sound of revving motorcycle engines at every site.
The crown jewel of Monterey Car Week, The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering, returns for its 22nd year on Friday, August 15, 2025. In addition to the world’s most notable OEM vehicle debuts, the event will celebrate iconic brands and significant anniversaries with featured and traditional classes, as well as exquisite culinary pavilions representing cuisine from countries around the world.
